ResonatingMetal

This is an old 16" crash cymbal with a few cracks in I found, which will be the base of the instrument. The cracks seem to give the sound some character and will diversify the ways in which the instrument can be played.

The cymbal has been cleaned and polished ready for objects to be soldered on to the surface

Guitar strings that will be soldered onto the cymbal.
Each wire will hang and react to the cymbals vibrations.
I intend to keep the bridge locks in place to help secure them to the surface.
